Comparison on Elasticity of PBT,PTT,PA66 and Spadex core spun yarn

Stretch yarn supplies fabrics good elasticity and comfort.Acturally,garments with different style and usage have different requirements for elasticity of fabrics.For example, close-fitting garment requires fabrics with high elasticity recovery,and also the loading when stretch should be high.However normal leisure garment only needs moderate elasticity,and also with moderate loadings.All the fabrics requires high stretch recovery.The different elasticity of above mentioned garments are depends on different elasticity of fibers.We compared the stretch properties of PBT,PTT,PA66 and spandex core spun yarn,in order to supply technical support in developing stretch fabrics.

Conclusion:

1. The stretch modulas of PTT yarn is lowest,both stretch recovery and its fast elasticity is the highest.

2. The mudulas of PA66 high stretch DTY is higher than which of PBT DTY,and elasticity recovery of PA66 is less than PBT and PTT DTY.

3. The modulas of PBT DTY is between PTT and PA66 yarn,elasticity recovery is slightly better than PA66 high stretch yarn,but is much worse than PTT DTY.With best slow elasticity is advantage of PBT yarn.

4. Spadex core spun yarn shows spadex's characterics of low modulas at low stretch environment,and under high stretch environment,it mainly shows sheath yarn's high modulas feature,the elasticity recovery of spadex core spun yarn before high temperature treatment is not as good as PTT,PBT,PA66 yarn.
