Indorama buys Turkish Polyester manufacturer
ndorama indicates on Jun.3rd the company bought total stock rights of Turkish polyester manufacturer Artenius Tuk PET.who has a annual capacity of 130,000 mts of PET.
Before this acquisition,Indorama announced to buy Turkish local leading polyester producer¡ªSasa Polyester Industial Co.Sasa Polyester and Artenius is adjacent,which will be in favor of intergration on the two companys to have synergies.Indorama indicates that they are waiting of authority's approval on buying of Sasa.
Aloke Lohia,CEO of Indorama,indicates that company is seeking turkey as Turky as a key market serving Europe,and Turkey is closo to market of Aisa and Mid east.Turkey and surrounding area are most fast increasing market.The leading position on polyester chain of Indorama will supply Artenius remarkable syngery effect.
