The dyeing characteristics of PBT fibers

The speed of crystallization of PBT is 10 times faster than of PET,and heat resistance is better,thus it has advantage to used in molding.On the other hand,PBT has advantage in using as fiber,the value is increasingly paid attention.Due to its stretch ability and stretch recovery,softness and good deyability,it can be used in denim fabrics,swim wear and panty stockings.

The largest characteristics of PBT is dyeability,the dyeability of PET at 130℃ is same with PBT at 120℃,compare to PET fiber,PBT fiber's dyeing rate is high at 98 to 120℃,so light color serious can be dyed at normal pressure and middle or heavy color serous can be dyed at 120℃ for a good color fastness.Speed of PBT dyeing is faster than PET dyeing.PBT fiber is dyed at 120? within 60 minutes,the dyeing rate will not be increased when dyeing rate reach the peak,even longer the dyeing time,PET fiber is different,when prolong the dyeing time,the dyeing rate will rise rapidly.

When PBT fiber is mixed wih PET fiber,the dyeing temperature can be 120℃,washing need to be done after dyeing. PBT yarn is easily dyeable,the dyeing condition is based on the condition of PET fibers,only need to lower the temperature,finalizing is 180℃ at 30 seconds,dyeing condition is 120℃at 30 seconds,washing at 50 to 60℃,the dyestuff is based on SE and SF,dyeing rang is between 80 to 110℃
