1.2 crimp shrinkage
1.2.1 influence of crimp shrinkage
The crimp shrinkage of DTY give fabrics certain stretch power,different stretch power needs different crimp shrinkage.Elasitc fabarics and bandage requires high crimp shrinkage,sewing threads and armband which has high requirement of gloss need low crimp shrinkage.

1.2.2 adjustment of crimp shrinkage
1.2.2.1 Temperature
Crimp shrinkage will increase with texturizing temperature increasing,this is because with temperature increasing,fiber's deformation increasing,it is apt to change its shape,so it is beneficial to improve elasticity.However,if the temperature too high,large molecular slide between chain,which cause strip and dot on the fabrics.According to demand from crimp shrinkage,deformation temperature can be between 185C to 230C,make the fiber have best elasticity.
False twist disc
The combination of friction disc of Texturizing machine can be between 1-4-1 to 1-8-1.To have higher elasticity,increasing false twist disc can be considered appropriately to increase the twist of strand,so that crimp shrinkage can be enhanced.
With increasing of false twist disc,crimp shrinkage is also increased.Due to sliding,when the combination of friction disc increased to 1-7-1,the change of fiber's crimp shrinkage is small,and meanwhile,the more the frition disc,the more difficult to cooperate.
With increasing of draw ratio,linear density and crimp shrinkage is decreased.The change of draw ratio make an effect on processing speed and broken filament.If draw ratio is too small,precessing tension deceased,which cause process not be stable and Ossified filament due to trembling of strand.In contrast,high draw ratio causes brokenfilament,make an effect on appearance and tenacity of the yarn.
