Recently,in Japanese domestic market,PBT(polybutylene terephthalate) fibres is drawing much attention of people.Teijin company initially sold its PBT fibres with brand name "Finecel" in 1979,the fibres was mainly used for making panty-hose.After three years Korila also got into this industry,its brand name is "Artlon".In 1983,Toray started to promote its PBT fibres with "Sumola" "Caspio".Later,Unitika planed to sell its PBT with "Wonderon" and Kanebo also planed its mass production of same fibres.Among these 5 producer, Korila began its export of PBT fabrics.

The main features of PBT fibres are:
1.Fibres apt to crimp slightly and with moderate elasticity
2.soft hand feel

PBT fibres belongs to polyester family,however it also has same molecular structure as Nylon.Due to the roughly same molecular chain lenghth with nylon,it also trends to crimp.Besides,the molecular moves more freely,gives PBT texturised yarn good elasticity.
