New development of PBT fibers(2)
As far as fibers,the source of raw material and the characterics of fiber itself play an important roll in the different development of each member of polyester family.
In 1950s,PET staple fiber and yarn started industrial production,20 years after,PBT got into market as filament yarn,and since 2000,and PTT has been industrial scale produced.
The above are about tradintional fibers,as for PET,it has been developed to scond generation,it can be called "functional fiber"(means that one function is entrusted),the main fuctions are flame retardant, dyeable,anti virus,etc.Recently,we have third generation fiber,or "multi-functional fibers",it refers to fiber has two or more than two fuctions,ie. Catinotic dyeable/fram retardant,catinotic dyeable/anti virus,flame retardant/anti virus,these development is at an early stage.
These requirement can be satisfied through research and acquirement of raw material can meet the demand then make it to fiber;Also,it can be make combination of natural or synthetic fiber to improve or eliminate bad performance of fiber,to meet the market demand.
