What is difference between PBT yarn and PBT core spun yarn ?

The main difference between PBT yarn and PBT core spun yarn is that the former is synthetic filament and the latter is composite yarn which takes PBT yarn as one of several materials of production.When we say PBT yarn,it means PBT filament,which spinned from PBT resin/polymer,it is totally a kind of chemical fiber.And when we talk about PBT core spun yarn,it means the core spun yarn contains PBT filament as core yarn,besides core yarn,core spun yarn also needs sheath yarn,and the sheath yarn could be roving that is made of different kinds of fibers,both natural fiber and chemical fibers.

The application of PBT yarn and PBT core spun yarn is totally different,PBT core spun yarn is main consumption of PBT filament yarn,however,besides used to produce core spun yarn,there are other application of PBT filament yarn,it can be used directly in weaving and kniting.It can be used directly as weft yarn in woven fabrics,such as dual-stretchable fabrics(also 4 direction stretchable fabrics),which applied in women's fashion trousers.Moreover,PBT filament yarn can be also used directly on weft kniting (circulation) machine and warp kniting machine,the knited fabric has excellent stretch,used in swimwear,sportwear,and active wear.

Of course,the production of PBT yarn and PBT core spun yarn is totally different.For PBT yarn,it needs extrusion machine,which converts PBT resin to PBT filament yarn,the filament produced is partially oriented yarn(POY),after texturizing machine,it is produed to textured yarn.And for PBT core spun yarn,the production machine is adjusted on base of conventional spun yarn system,such as ring spinning system.
